About Bingbir Ṭhirual
Bingbir Ṭhirual is a United States–based fundraising initiative committed to protecting the right to education for children in war-torn Chin State, Myanmar. As conflict continues to displace families and destroy vital infrastructure, many children are left without safe or consistent access to school. In many areas, schools now rely entirely on local communities, where volunteer teachers and leaders from both Chin State and the diaspora work tirelessly to keep education alive with little to no resources.
Our mission is to ensure that conflict does not take away a child’s opportunity to learn. We provide essential resources and support so children in Chin State can continue their education, even in the most challenging circumstances.
Founded by survivors of war and persecution from Chin State now living abroad, Bingbir Ṭhirual is grounded in lived experience, faith, and a deep sense of responsibility. Though far from home, we remain closely connected to our communities through trusted partnerships with local leaders in Chin State. These relationships allow us to deliver support directly, transparently, and effectively, reaching the children and families who need it most.
Bingbir Ṭhirual serve as a bridge between those who want to help and those in need, creating pathways for hope, opportunity, and lasting change.
Starting with One Village
We are beginning this campaign with a focused effort in one village, supporting one school and approximately 200 children in Grade 10 and below. Despite ongoing hardship, these children, along with their teachers and families, remain in their community and urgently need educational support.
For their safety, we are not publicly sharing the village’s name or location. We are committed to operating with care and discretion to protect those we serve.
Our goal is to expand this work to other villages across Chin State. The pace of that growth depends on the support we receive.
Every donation helps us reach more children, strengthen more classrooms, and provide essential resources to families in need. Together, we can grow this mission one village at a time.
